New Video Released on Converting LP's & Tapes to CD
Blaze Audio has released a video tutorial entitled "How to Convert Records and Tapes to CD" for people who want to preserve their precious records and tapes. This video tutorial covers connections, proper recording, editing, removing pops and clicks, and burning the final CD. Following the easy to understand instructions, people of all ages can convert records and tapes to CD, preserving their collection and enjoying listening pleasure for years to come.
November 19, 2004 -- We baby boomers bought the original White Album when the Beatles released it in 1968. Ditto for the Beach Boys Today in 1965. Yes, we picked up the CDs when they came out, but theyre just not the same. In fact, many of the CDs are remastered or even have a different song list!
Records deteriorate every time they are played, so the LP just sits on the shelf. Our kids and even our grandkids would like to hear the original, but who wants to risk precious vinyl or a delicate tape with a 3 year old in the room?
It would be great if we could convert those records and tapes CDs, but thats complicated and expensive, right? Whos got time? And with kids in college, or grandkids to help raise, who has the money?
Actually, most of us have all or most of the equipment we need sitting at home. And, if you know how, its not hard at all to do the conversion. Blaze Audios online tutorial has helped thousands of people turn their tapes and records into CDs, and they just released a video version that tells you exactly how to do it.
Connecting a turntable or tape deck seems hard, but its really easy if you watch somebody else to see how its done. Need to connect an external preamp or sound card? Blaze Audios experts show you how to do that and more.
Director Alan Jeffries found making this video to be particularly satisfying. Many people are intimidated by the process- recording, editing, burning a CD, he said. It was both challenging and rewarding finding clear ways to express all this information in a 22 minute video presentation. This video is going to enable people to preserve precious, irreplaceable tapes and records that would otherwise never be used.
The video is available on DVD or VHS (NTSC only) from www.blazeaudio.com. Please contact us for promotional copies.
